From the smallest beginnings ...

The Byakko Shotokan Karate Association began life with Sensei Ady Gray and just a couple of students.

Word soon spread and BSKA's student base steadily grew to more than 250 today. There are dojos in Ripon, Boroughbridge, Thirsk, Bedale and, of course, Easingwold.

Its success has been remarkable. As well as taking numerous students on the journey from their first punch to their black-belt, BSKA has established a formidable presence on the competition circuit, producing six British silver medallists, nine English bronze medallists and one British bronze medallist.

Easingwold Shotokan Karate Club was founded in 2003 by Sensei Ady Gray and later handed to Sensei Grahame Hunter. The pair work closely to ensure Easingwold SKC's students receive the best instruction and advice to enable them to reach their full potential.
